It's April 1, 2013. It’s the first day after Easter
Sunday. It’s also the first day of the second quarter of the year. Many of us –
yes, myself included – are looking forward to new challenges. Your challenge
may be to adopt better business acumen. You may even want a better love life. And then,
there are some of us who want a second chance at losing weight. I guess April
Fools’ Day would be the perfect day for that goal because some of us aren’t
fooling anyone. Yep, that would mean me.
However, I’m proud to start over and get my blog cracking under a new name and
vision. No, you will not find gossip on this page or even this week’s hottest
shoe. But what you will find every Tuesday are some of the realest posts about
the most utmost people, places and
things and how they affect you and me.
As a “rural socialite,” I intend to aimlessly travel the
backroads, highways, interstates and trails to epicuriously exploit all that
the wonderful country has to offer.
So come and ride shotgun. Excuse the progress as the site gets tweaked along the way (no taxpayers money will be used). You don’t need any gas money, you
just need to follow this hot blog on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr … Don’t forget to bring an
insatiable appetite for education, fun, wit, recurring hot topics and of
course, roadkill …
